Email marketing (if applicable) : With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products or other updates.

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to the use of your IP address to determine your location and automatically convert prices. This data is stored in a session (temporary) cookie on your browser, which is automatically deleted when you close your browser. This allows prices to be displayed in your local currency throughout your visit.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify's storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. Your information is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment :
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card information. This information is encrypted according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
Transaction information is retained only as long as necessary to complete your purchase. Once the transaction is complete, your data is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a group of companies like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

These standards ensure the secure processing of bank card data by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and share your information to the extent necessary to perform their services.

However, some providers such as payment platforms may have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must transmit to them for transactions.

We recommend that you read their privacy policies to understand how your data will be used by these providers.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, it will be encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and stored with AES-256 encryption.
Because no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional recognized industry standards.

SECTION 7 – COOKIES

Here is a list of cookies we use, so you can choose whether you want to accept them or not:

  • _session_id : unique identifier, sessional – allows Shopify to store information about your session (source, landing page, etc.)

  • _shopify_visit : does not store data, persists for 30 min – used for internal site statistics

  • _shopify_uniq : does not store data, expires midnight (local time) – counts the number of visits

  • cart : unique identifier, persistent for 2 weeks – saves the contents of your cart

  • _secure_session_id : unique, sessional identifier

  • storefront_digest : unique, persistent identifier – used to determine if the visitor has access to the site when a password is required

SECTION 8 – AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of legal majority in your country or province of residence, or that you have given your consent to allow any minor for whom you are responsible to use this site.

SECTION 9 – CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so we encourage you to review it regularly. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
If there is a major update, we will notify you here so that you are aware of what data we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances it may be shared.

If Veliskin is acquired or merged with another company, your data may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide our services to you.
